Your procurement office in China

We do not manufacture and we do not resell. We work against your order, in your name and with your approval at every stage.

Short answer

What is MeliPrep?

MeliPrep is the trading brand of 深圳市暖海科技有限公司 (Shenzhen Nuanhai Technology Co., Ltd.), a cross-border B2B trading company based in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China. It acts as a sourcing and procurement agent: it buys on 1688, Taobao and directly from factories for importers in Mexico, Brazil and Latin America, with a speciality in consumer electronics manufactured in Shenzhen. It verifies that the supplier is a real manufacturer, inspects quality before the goods leave the country, consolidates orders from several suppliers into a single shipment and handles DDP shipping. It does not manufacture or buy stock of its own to resell: it works against order and charges a declared commission of 5% to 8% on the purchase value.

We operate through a company registered in China, not as an informal intermediary. That means there is a legal entity you can contract with, claim against and invoice, and that your order does not depend on a personal account.

Why MeliPrep exists

Importing from China has three real problems, and none of them is the price. The first is that you do not know who you are talking to: in many categories, most of the sellers that look like manufacturers are traders who subcontract production. The second is that language and distance turn any claim into something practically impossible to enforce. The third is that, in the end, you pay six freights for six suppliers and coordinate everything from another continent.

MeliPrep exists to solve those three problems from the inside. We are in Shenzhen, we speak Mandarin, and we can visit a factory the same day you ask us to. That turns verification, inspection and claims into things that get done, not things that get attempted.

Our speciality is consumer electronics, because it is the industry that defines Shenzhen: phone accessories, audio, LED lighting, batteries, wearables and components. It is not the only thing we buy — we work any category and source from whichever cluster fits, even outside Guangdong — but it is where we hold the advantage that is hardest to copy: the factory is less than an hour from our office.

How we work

Against your order, never against stock

We do not buy goods on our own account to resell them. Every purchase is made against your order, with your approval and in your name. That means we hold no inventory to place and therefore no incentive to push a product on you.

A declared commission, with the factory invoice on the table

We hand you the factory invoice exactly as we receive it and charge a commission separately, agreed in writing before the first order. We add no margin to the unit price and no surcharge to the freight.

Three points where you approve

Nothing moves without your sign-off on the sample, on the inspection report and on the freight rate. If you decide to stop at any of those three points, it stops.

We say no when it is the right answer

If your product does not fit Shenzhen, we tell you so and we work whichever route does fit. If the target price is not reachable at your volume, we tell you before you spend time on it. If an order makes no economic sense, we say so.

What we do not do

We do not work with counterfeit goods, branded replicas or products that infringe patents. We do not accept orders whose import is banned or restricted in the destination country. We do not give tax or customs advice: we organise the logistics and the clearance, and the decisions about your tax position are yours to take with your accountant and your customs broker.

And we do not publish figures we cannot prove. If a number of factories, an annual volume or a count of years in operation does not appear on this site, it is because we do not have that figure verified, not because we forgot it.

Let's talk about your product

Tell us what you buy, how often, and which market you take it to. We will tell you plainly whether we can help and how we would do it.
